Bowser (H litter) and Vader (U litter)

We now have 2 shepherds from Sierra, and are so impressed with them! We are currently planning for a 3rd pup! She keeps up with them consistently even years later, helps us any time we have a question, and is real/upfront about anything and everything with the dogs. She posts updates about the liters so you can follow along until its time to get them. She has bent over backwards for us in a variety of scenarios. We are in Arizona, but will only buy our shepherds from her!! The boys we have constantly get compliments on their drive, intelligence, and how gorgeous they are!

Mazikeen (L litter)

My Mazikeen is the best dog I could ever ask for. Shes so smart and so sweet. Her favorite thing in the world is playing fetch. Sierra was great to work with and continues to answer any questions I have. Getting Maze from Sierra was the best decision I ever made. I constantly get compliments on her to the point she now answers to "Beautiful" and "Pretty" when we go to the dog park. Haha. When I set out to get Maze, Sierra updated me with videos the day she was born and updated me with pictures all the time. I got to see Maze grow even before I met her. I'm so grateful Sierra chose Maze to be the perfect match for me.

Ragnar (Q litter)

My husband and I decided we were ready to get a puppy. We searched and came across Mengerhaus. The owner, Sierra, provided quick responses and was helpful with all of our inquiries. We had been waiting since April 2020 for the birth of the puppies that were due in May, throughout which Sierra provided daily updates and pics and vids of the puppies progress. We finally picked up our angel puppy in July 2020. We have no complaints ta and fully recommend this amazing breeder. BTW our puppy is perfect!

Lizzie (A litter) and Bella (C litter)

We received our beautiful German shepherd pup from Sierra. I could not be happier with the dog. I also never expected someone to stay in contact the way Sierra has. Sierra has beyond impressed me with her love and devotion to her animals. Not only.is she a responsible breeder, but she truely cared and keeps ups with the pups once out of her care. When I'm ready to get Lizzy a sibling- Sierra will be in charge of the pup that fits my.pups personality!

Sierra at Mengerhaus is beyond extraordinary to deal with. Her knowledge of GSD’s and the love for her dogs and bettering the breed is what struck my interest.

After further talking to Sierra, she was honest with me and spoke to me as a friend. We talked about what I wanted looks / personality / drive of a pup.

She listened to what I wanted, and she said she could produce just that from her dogs. Excellent! From that moment we spoke regularly. When the litter was born I received updates weekly.

Rhea is literally the dog of my dreams.

What stuck out about mengerhaus was how wonderful Sierra was, and She was honest through the whole process & Became someone I trust. I’ve also gained a mengerhaus family, and get to keep up with my pups littermates, as well as all pups produced from mengerhaus. The only downside to Sierra and these wonderful magnificent dogs... is you’ll want more !

I couldn’t recommend Sierra and mengerhaus puppies any more.

"We absolutely love our Mengerhaus Puppy! He is everything and more of what we hoped for. We live in Kansas City, MO and I drove 10 hours to get him because he was well worth it. Sierra was extremely helpful when it came to picking out the right puppy for us. Once our puppy was born, she gave weekly updates and pictures and always kept us in the loop. This was by far the best breeder experience I have ever had. She made us feel like family and continues to ask how our puppy is doing. We for sure will be coming back to her for our future puppies."

Honor

We got our puppy Honor in October, I was worried about not seeing the puppy first and transport, we live in Canada. She answered all of my questions and was very patient with us. Sierra arranged everything all we had to do was pick her up. Honor was exactly what we were looking for! Very pleased with our dog and experience. Will definitely be contacting Sierra when we go looking for our next dog.

I bought my boy Xander about 5 months ago. Sierra was great to work with, so patient with all of my questions. I was fearful of buying from out-of-state since i could not see him in person ( I'm in Upstate NY). She answered every question to the best of her ability and was honest and upfront. Xander has met and surpassed my expectations. He as an older pup and was well started. He is turning into the best family dog, great with the kids, bold and out going. It is obvious she knows what she is doing with her dogs! I highly reccomend her and would not hesitate to buy from her again!

Kowboy (M Litter)

We chose to get our male stud "Kowboy" from Mengerhaus German Shepherds and I'm so glad I did.

I was not looking for a pup.

(Yes, something else we have in common..hahaha)

I came across her post of a male pup and immediately called a friend of mine to reread what I read because I didn't think "this" nice puppy was "really" available. His looks, pedigree, testing.... I had to contact them before this one got away!! My husband even agreed he was great! (Not a easy thing to do!)

We were shocked to find someone who truely cared about the breed like we do.

To "actually" care about the betterment of the breed! - To study and breed the right pedigrees to match or better for health, brains and beauty, who also tested and titled dogs. - Checked all of my questions and since has become a great friend!

I look forward to continued friendship for many years to come and hopefully sharing great success with our pup from them! It's nice to have a fellow breeder friend who is honest, trustworthy and has integrity!

We immediately moved my shcedule for my business and that same weekend, Frank and I drove to get our lil boy!

On April 22, 2020, we picked up Levi, our little male German shepherd puppy (N litter Koba & Jenna). At pick-up He was of excellent health, and came with all his AKC paperwork and medical records. Levi has always been a very sweet boy, his temperament is incredible and his drive has always been very low-medium which is exactly what we were looking for. Also, he’s simply gorgeous. I was specifically searching for a long-haired sable male to eventually breed to my female and he’s definitely exceeded my expectations. Sierra was extremely helpful when I was looking for a pup, helped me pick Levi based on what I was looking for and her communication with us through the whole process was outstanding. I would absolutely recommend Sierra/Mengerhaus to anyone looking for a great quality German shepherd dog.

Zara (P litter)

We brought Zara (P Litter Black Girl) home in May 2020 and to say that she has transformed our lives is an understatement. She has so much personality and is so spunky. If she isn't fetching a ball, chatting with us, or searching for treats and toys, she can be found snuggling next to us. Zara is the perfect combination of drive and chill. People stop us all the time to ask what kind of dog she is and compliment her beauty. (And boy is she beautiful!) I would highly recommend a Mengerhaus puppy/ Dog. Sierra has been honest and easy to work with. She did an incredible job training Kaos.

I bought Kaos as a 1 yr old. He has exceeded my expectations. The perfect family pet, I can trust him 100% with my baby crawling around. He is working on protection training and doing amazing. Athletic and energetic outside, but exceptional behavior and house manners inside. He is confident, intelligent and stunning. I have had the pleasure of owning and working with many German Shepherds over the years, none quite on his level. In my opinion he is the perfect German Shepherd.

Sierra has been amazing through the entire process. This was my first time buying through a breeder and it was pleasant. Sierra was flexible when I had wanted to change litters, making payments was easy, shipping went smoothly. Overall, the experience was great because Sierra has great communication with you throughout the whole process. Once we got our boy from the airport, Sierra was checking in with us with in the first hour and through out the first night. Our puppy arrived happy, healthy and on time. He's absolutely perfect. We have came to her with any and all concerns and questions and she has been amazing. You can truely tell how much she cares about her dogs. If we ever want another GSD, we will definitely be coming back to mengerhaus!

What to say what to say 😂

Well I gotta say I got myself into something I knew nothing about . I’m used to my fat lazy bullies who require zero work , but little miss Meria ... boy oh boy she test me daily but she’s absolutely AMAZING ! & you deal with my constant bitching and complaining about her psycho ass while giving me advise and pointing me in the right direction. She’s so smart & LOVES Fallon , I am 100% certain no one will ever mess with her as long as she has Meria with her. Everywhere we go people compliment us on her and say how she’s the most gorgeous Shepard they’ve ever seen. She’s our first and will probably be our last but we wouldn’t change a single thing about her or who we got her from ❤️

Sierra Menger with Menger Haus Kennels has been AMAZING throughout the entire process of purchasing one of her puppies. The health testing, personalities, temperament testing and confirmation of her dog's and puppies are excellent. The communication that Sierra exhibits with her soon to be or current puppy owners is phenomenal. She sends out frequent updates on pregnancy progression, and whelping. Once your baby has arrived she continues to keep you informed. We picked up our first Mengerhaus puppy yesterday, and we could not be happier with her. The positive experience we here at Deep South Kennels have had with Sierra has inspired us to reserve 3 and possibly 4 more of her pups. We are extremely selective on who we will refer potential clients or active clients to for a GSD pup.

NOVA and ZARA

When the time came to get another shepherd for my parents since their first has been such an amazing dog, I definitely did my research for the best breeders. I came across Sierra and was interested in one of her puppies. I ended up getting Nova( the bi colored). This was the best decision I could have made for my parents. She is intelligent, kind, and overall just an awesome shepherd. I have 2 children who adore her and she has always been so good with them. Almost a year later, I decided to get one for my family. I most definitely was going to get another puppy from Sierra. This is when we got Zara( sable colored). She is now 12 weeks old and I know she will be just as good as Nova. I highly recommend Sierra and her shepherds. They are quality, trained, registered German Shepherd who will excel in all types of work!
